Why do so plentiful People antipathy Geese?

Well, when my alcoholic parents used to go and purchase their moonshine, the Geese would chase us kids - dysfunctional family? Yes!! Anyhow, I don't care for them.
Could you preserve pheasant(s) near your chickens?
In Reidsville Ga., Geese were chasing me and my sister when she be 3...chased her into a pond..she almost died, has brain damage and cant hold a employment so she receives money for disability. I hate geese. Took me a while to appreciate birds, but now I hold a couple of lovebirds. I love them dearly. I guess it's just geese I dont like.

Answers:    It mostly has to do with poop.

Geese flock to small retention ponds and poop, the poop settles and creates a sludge in the bottom of the pond, and raise the e.coli levels to a phenomenal rate.

They also leave poop all over the guard and lawn of ponds/streams and beaches, and goose poop is disgusting brown/green and slick, so stepping in it will most potential put you on your butt, into more goose poop, it's happened to me...stop laughing.

I think the honking, hissing, and chasing turn people bad too, ducks seem friendlier, geese tend to be a bit more aggressive especially where chicks are concerned, but you know, Swans are worse, I don't surmise people realize how mean Swans are because they're so pretty.
What should I do for a BIRD...
Lol we hold a lot of Candaian geese and they can be a little scary when they are demanding food and virtually biting your hand off to get it, but they are cute besides!

I dont but I enjoy been attacked plenty times by nasty boy ganders!! so maybe thats why relations dont like them? Plus they like to poop at you if they are stressed and angry. So that could be another function. Noisy too?
I LOVE geese! I have a place I jump to and feed them all the time. I enjoy it terribly much. I think they are beautiful birds and I think the noise they make are cute and funny. I've fed geese for a long time and have never be bitten. Graylag geese can be very friendly. I even pet some of them. The Candian geese won't let me pet them put love them anyway. Honk for geese!
