If you google plume plucking then you'll get a lot of info.
If she is moulting, she is going to loose a lot of the downy feathers adjectives at once, and they do seem to fly everywhere! Otherwise, does it look like she is pulling feathers out from everywhere, leaving balding spots? She may be bored and stipulation some additional attention and/or toys to play with. Find some toys she likes and perhaps leave on the TV while you're gone. When you're home, they NEED LOTS of attention or they will pluck out of boredom.
Hope this helps!!
Answers: She could be moulting.
Is she going through the moulting season? If she is it is natural, and a mode of cleaning out for new feathers. However, if she pulling all her feathers out and making smooth on top spots that means she is either nervous or upset. If specifically the problem you need to consult a vet.
Your bird is not joyful... She might not like you. Are you yelling to much?? My sister had this problem and settled to find a new home for the bird. The bird is now cheery with the new owner and has stopped plucking the feathers.. P.S. You may enjoy asthma from him. My sister doesn't need her inhaler now that she found a new domestic for her bird.I hope this helped. I am not saying it is your fought for the birds behavior, Keep an eye on the situation. Good Luck.
perhaps its because your not spneding enough time with him. parrots are hysterical pets you know.
