Why does my african grey copier growl at my cat?
Like every time my cat goes close to my african grey its starts growling at my cat..and my cat doesnt go in my room anymore because i keep hold of my parrot in there... why does my impressionist do that? i want my cat to come in my room again...how can i solve their differences?
They probably taunt each other in the middle of the darkness, when you are sleeping. So your parrot is probably defending himself because he is aware if the cat. Your cat is probably scared or annoyed by the growling of your impressionist.
I hope this helps!
African Grey s have the intelligence of a four to five year old human. He is giving the cat a reproving to stay away. He knows the cat is a natural antagonist of birds. I don't see how you can resolve the instincts of your bird or the cat. Just cover the Grey up when you want the cat in your room.If it came to a fight your cat would procure the bad end of it, the bird would fair a touch better. But the cat can also hurt the Bird.
Cats have been intake birds for eternity. You bird is afraid of the cat and rightfully so. It isn't fair to your bird to be going thru this.
You may not be able to - your parrot is defending itself. Your cat is listen. All I can suggest is bring cat treats in and perhaps cover the parrot's coop when you want him to come in.
Answers: Your parrot knows the cat can injure him. So he is trying to scare the cat away so he is safe...
You should put some cloth of the impressionist
or bring your cat in ur room in ur arms showing the bird ur cat is harmless
so ur impressionist might feel safer
