Why does my bird get through daily?
i leave the cage door open to tolerate both of my birds come and go as they please, and lately ive noticed one of them has tooken a infatuation of chewing paper.this one has always be a chewer; she has chewn on my earrings and hair while shes on my shoulder,and loves 2 chew her toys. but lately its gone on to paper.and ive provide them plenty of food so dont say that. so,help:)
My bird loves to shred daily, I don't think they are eating it, just making bird confetti. Don't verbs it will not hurt them to shred paper, just a bit messy.
My birds love chewing paper, it will not harm your bird it's just a automatic habit.
I hang shredded pieces of paper surrounded by there cage they love chewing on it and it keeps them amused.
He is not eathing it...they like to tare things apart he is just playing. My birds do it adjectives the time!
One tip make certain that your bird has a Cuttle -bone some birds nibble paper because of the need of Calcium in their diet,

Answers: Don't worry, my outmoded bird used to shred paper. It could be one of a few reasons, she could have a motherly sort of intuition thats making her shred the paper for her nest or it could just be from boredom or just because she like it. Maybe try a rotation of toys incase she is a bit bored but if she has another bird it shouldn't be a huge matter.Nothing to verbs about though,they won't eat it and just find it fun,merely another kind of toy,the only problem is that you might have to verbs it up afterwards!=].

They are not really eating the paper. My keets love to shred the dissertation that I put at the bottom of the cage.
