Why does my budgie not chirp anymore? ?
We have him just over 3 years and he used to be chirping all the time from when we acquire up almost til we go to bed and recently he's lately gone so quiet, any advice or info will be greatly appreciated

Not chirping is usually a sign of some compassionate of illness. I would take him to the vet for an exam. Birds tend too hide their illnesses until its too behind time to do anything for them.

Your bird is probably going through the moult. In the wild, when birds moult, they are at their most venerable to predators, so they hang on to quite and safe.
the moult normally ultimate about 6 weeks, you'll see after this time your bird will be chirpy once more.
Maybe he is lonely and wants a friend to chirp next to ?

If he seem health in every other channel it could be he is lonely. Budgies are best keep with another budgie.
