Why does my budgie maintain loosing its go together?
When my budgie is stood on its perch it falls to the bottom of its cage
Check its nails. Are they too long? Birds near overgrown nails have trouble balancing. You might stipulation to clip them. Or is it a baby? Some babies need time to learn how to set off.
Could be many things from a foot and nail problem to a inner ear problem to lead or zinc posioning to a virus. I would take to avian vet better safe than sorry.. Offer more calcium also. Cuttle bone and crushed oyster shell.
Answers: Your bird could have bumped it's head at some time,when flying or one startled in it's cage,this would cause concussion and show equal symptoms,but if in doubt go too a vet.
Another factor could be his core have you changed the brand or has it been contaminated by mouse droppings.
