Why does my duck flaccid?

My female Mallard duck is four months old. She has other been healthy except for a wing problem (Angel Wing) that we could not fix. Today when I go outside, I noticed that she was limping. We picked her up and looked at her foot and on the bottom in attendance is this little black dot. When we looked at the top of her foot, there was this little piece of skin that looked torn. It was right above where on earth the black dot was on the bottom of her foot. She limps on this foot, but we have see her walk on it fully sometimes.

What can I do to help her? I am not sure what to do. I don't know whether I should take her to the vet because they are all usually dog/cat vet around here. I'm not sure if they would know how to cure her. Also, I'm not sure whether it is serious or not.

Thanks for any help.
Answers:    It may simply be an infection. I 'adopted' a duck once that was holding up the drive-thru at McD's.the cars would stop and wait for her but she have trouble walking so she was very slow to move. She limped appallingly but had no real signs of an injury.

I brought her home and a friend suggested anti-biotics and we be able to get some at the TSC store. It worked like a charm. She be feeling better in a week and a few weeks later she started lay eggs. A few weeks after that she flew away for good but hopefully she got to live a long natural life.
