Why don't woodpeckers take headache when they slam their own director on a tree adjectives light of day?
I know they slam their beak, not head !
a woodpecker does just that pecks away at the tree trunk next to his beak, does not use his head for the job, however the impact is passed along the head & collar, but individual species are adapted for the job they perform, the woodpecker no less.Anatomy is a stimulating subject .
Answers: Thick muscles, sponge-like bones, and a third eyelid keep bird brains intact.

Their beaks have a shock absorber type thing. :3
The Skull of a Woodpecker is made up of various chambers, which act as Shock absorbers, when they are pecking absent with their "Beak"the pressure is distributed through these chambers and that is why it don't procure a Headache.
