Why hasn't my parakeets staple grown rear nonetheless?
It was a while ago when one of my budgies got its nail bit past its sell-by date by one of my gerbils when he landed on their cage? Why hasn't the nail grown stern yet
i would go to a avian specialist, all the vets ive be to kinda suck when it comes to birds. but yeah it will take a while for the talon (birds nail) to grow...if it got bit sour, ive seen many birds that lack a talon and havent grown rear legs
I have a zebra finch that has two of its front nails lost. I bought him that way and he's healthy and happy and singing right immediately. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but phone up your vet first and see if they think you should bring him in. I'm not a vet, so I can't diagnose anything. Your budgie could have only worn his nails on a hard surface like a rock or sandpaper. But you should update your vet on your budgie's next checkup.
take him to the vet he made have something wrong with it. or confer it some time and see what happens. but i would go to a vet.
Answers: My cockatiel accidentally got his nail caught on something and ripped it out it have now been a year and has never grown rear legs.
i really dnt no but u should consider taking him or her to the vet. i have a parakeet , but that never happened to mine :)
