Why won't my parakeet get through or drink?
I just two parakeets a few days ago and one of them doesn't eat at all. The other will get through, but neither of them will drink. Do I need to get separate food containers?
when you normally get them they will be stressed caz you simply swicthed their envirerment. you shouldnt play with them for at least 5 days and let them bring used to everything. this is completey normal just make certain they dont go withoout eating 2 long or they will die. keep givin them food and hose good luck please make me best answer

Answers: its possible but you only own had them a couple of days,let them get used to their exotic home,if the one doesn't eat by after their might be something wrong with it,check its nares and vent and eyes,if vent is messy there is a correct possibility its sick,keep it warm and quit ,put the food and marine down on the bottom of cage so it wont have to work for food and water.don't forget to check the other one to,it might be sick too,later i would be mad at the place for selling sick birds,there is off the shelf antibiotics that might relieve but i doubt it , try the first thing i sed and if that wont work you might have to turn to a avion vet,keep cool water at easy arrive at for them,
Give them a couple of days to adjust, but talk to the party you bought them from and let them know.
