Wild birds surrounded by my garden?
i have some feeding tables contained by my garden and get alot of birds especially this time of year.i have notice that i'm getting quite a few(i saw 6 this morning) of what appears baby birds, they have fluffed out feathers, not hugely good at flying and you can get quite close in the past they fly away.they are easy pickings for my old indolent cat.do you get baby birds this time of year? or could there be some helpful of disease amongst them?
Could you email me a picture? It depends where on earth you live. If you live in like Florida you could have toddler birds but if you live in like New York or some northern state you wouldn't. I don't ruminate its a disease. If it's really cold where you live they could just have their feathers fluffed up to build themselves warm. I could tell if I have a picture
It would be unusual for in attendance to be baby birds around this late in the season. Not impossible though whether you live in a warmer climate. Are you sure they are a moment ago not fluffed up to keep warm. Also, not sure why you would hold a bird feeder AND an outdoor cat. Especially if the feeder is in an area efficiently accessible to your cat. Cats are perfectly capable of capturing even the healthiest birds and probably does adjectives the time. Not sure if you know this, but domesticated cats have become a huge environmental problem as they are cause the decline and endangerment of many songbird species. Scientist are very concerned and have started a Cat Indoors Campaign. See more info below:

Answers: Depending in which country you live as to whether these are baby birds ,if contained by the U.K. then they will not be babies.
Lots of birds are lethargic at this time of year if the weather is cold, they will Fluff at hand feathers out to keep warm.
But by what you are saying ,they appear to be "Off" color, the only way you are going to notice is whether they disappear one by one so to speak.
They may be Old birds coming to the end.
There is not much you can do,so try not to worry this is Nature at it's worst.
