Will different species of impressionist of similar size bring along?
I have a little cockatiel and I'm planning on getting him a friend next year when we move to a bigger place and I can find room for a bigger hold (although his current cage is bigger than most African grey cages I've seen lol).
Will another species of bird attain along with him, something of a similar size? Such as a caique or galah cockatoo? I've heard sometimes birds from his species dont bond as well next to others, but others have told me they have different parrot species living together beside no problem. Does anyone have experience of this?
NO
Not surrounded by the same cage the bigger bird will peck legs get a cockatiel of the otehr sex for it be much better.
How very irresponsible of you to ask this cross-examine on an internet forum, you should be consulting a professional to make sure you get a right answer. You clearly don't deserve to own these wonderful creatures. Filling your life with animals doesn't fill the space on your social inadequacies and depression, only a personality does that.
Answers: It really depends on the bird you choose. But be aware that many species to NOT get along.
Cockatiels are fundamentally passive birds and will usually back down from a fracas. But many birds are NOT passive and will actually pick a struggle with another bird which could result in severe injury or death.
Research your birds practically if you must keep them together. Your best bet, however, would be to keep a moment bird in a separate cage. You can then TRY the birds out together on NEUTRAL domain. But keep both eyes on them at all times. It only take a second for serious harm to come.
