Will my Quaker Parrot ever similar to me?

It's obviously a little soon to ask this but being a paranoid entity i'd figure i'd ask before i do something wrong. I recently get this 8 week old quaker parrot about 3 days ago and he is not terrified, very quiet and hardly bites, freshly nibbles. He crawls up my arm and onto my shoulder but is always SO eager to get posterior into his cage. He sleeps alot aswell. I am trying to figure out if he will ever really resembling me, like want to be with me rather than individual in his cage. Also, what is the best way to educate him tricks / to talk? I have been repeating phrases to him but i find it difficult to play beside him as he is so eager to return to his cage. Maybe this is just because he is unsullied to the family and is still a bit nervous.
Your breed of parrot is probably only a little sky. More confident birds like lovebirds (I have one) steal less time to adjust. Give him love and let him (or her) sleep against your shoulder or in your pocket.
He's probably just shy and being that the most familiar place is his coop, of course that where he wants to be. Give him a few weeks to adjust, He'll come around. Give him lots of love and attention and be certain you handle him a few times a day.

Good luck!
Answers:    Your probably right he's just investigational to the family and needs to get used to you. I have a ferret ( I know a ferret and bird are way different) and she would bite and be mean the first couple of weeks but then she get used to me and was the sweetest ferret ever never bit anyone. Give him lots of TLC and be gentle so that he knows your not trying to hurt him. Good luck! Hope I help:)
he will eventually bond beside you just keep trying my quaker is nine years old and he can still be a bit nippy but he loves me and I love him just give him time.
Should i clutch my cockatiel next to both hand?   Why can birds fly? I really obligation to know for a charge exam.?   Are owls friendly around associates?   How do you gain rid of the worms and moths from the bird nut once they start getting into your food?
