Will sage grease hurt my birds?

are there any other kinds of oils that will hurt my bird
and i am not going to stick the grease on my bird, it just the smell will release into the air.

Answers:    Not good to use any oil that smell around a bird as well as any air fresheners or aerosols. Actually can massacre birds as they have such delicate respiratory systems. If want to smell the room up I would suggest boiling apple and cinnamon that is to say what I do. Not good to use any candles around them either.
