Will turken chickens sit on in that eggs?
i got some turkens (naked neck chickens) to sit on my duck and peacock eggs. i know that lots of chickens never go broody. do they?
YES and will sit on these eggs till hatch make very good mothers as very well.
Since they aren't use to nesting yet, they won't later on contained by their age. I do know they lay a respectable number of light brown eggs. But you either have to tolerate them learn on your own, or I'd add you get a incubator for the eggs. But the physiology of a hen change after she's laid her clutch, after that she will become broody.
Answers: Among my other chickens i also reverse some naked necks ,have used them to incubate & found them diligent contained by their duty,they also make good caring mothers so i come up with you have a good chance of seeing kid chicks soon.good luck.
of course they have to keep them thaw out
