Winter consideration for budgies??

how to take care of budgies in winter season?!
i enjoy 6 budgies.

Answers:    Warmth is obviously an issue, and there are several ways to keep birds reheat (without drying the air, this hurts their respiratory system).

You can:
1. Invest in a clip-on heat light. http://www.f3images.com/IMD/250/ES67031/...

2. Invest in a self-warming perch. http://www.windycityparrot.com/page/Wind...

3. Invest in a heat wad to warm the bottom of their cage.

Once they are able to keep hold of themselves warm, start thinking about providing humidity, this will keep them markedly happy, and singing all winter long.

You Can:
1. Invest in a humidifier.

2. Let the budgies breathe within the moisture from your hot shower every morning.

And if your birds are given a healthy, staple diet of pellets and leafy greens, affix in a few extra seeds. They will necessitate the extra fat energy that this food have to much of.
But if your birds are on a base diet of seeds.propose them pellets as well. Pellets have a much highly developed nutritional value than seed, and it wards rotten stress and disease.

I wish your little buddies well.
Anika,

I would advise closing the window and stuffing the bottom with a towel t oinsulate it, and I would put your budgies into a room that has the least window and is the warmest. I would also keep a heater on if it is chilly contained by the house.
