Would a web cannon be the best weapon to entrap a bird?

I usually squat down and cover myself with worms and when they receive close to me I hit them with a tennis racquet which renders them unconscious.

Answers:    Catching wild animals is illegal surrounded by most states. So the best thing to do would be NOT entraping a bird. Also as stated before mythbusters proved that net cannon=bust.
