12 year matured cat beside diarrhia?

My cat has very bad diarrhia, i took her to vet he did poop example came negative for parasites he did adjectives blood work and he said that WBC was little high and he diagnosed her with IBD, he give her 250 mg metronidazole, this is second refill but she is not getting better, please aid?
it might be due to her eating different cat food
or sometimes my cat used to get diarrhea from drinking usual milk if this is the problem use cat milk (which is normally found in generous supermarkets)
if not then try to give her scramble eggs . our vet told us to feed her this when she kept on being sick, he said its fairly wispy and the stomach settles with it. this would be alright for a couple of days, all you do is in a plate crack roughly speaking 2 eggs and mix then put in the microwave for about 30 - 50 second until cooked then put in her food bowl
give her more or less three times a day
if this does not work than maybe she is dieing beside old age if this is the problem then here is nothing you can do

metronidazole a nitroimidazole anti-infective medication used fundamentally in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible organisms, particularly anaerobic germs and protozoa.

IBD - irritable bowel, needs a bland diet. Try cooking lean ground round w/ brown rice. Offer canned pumpkin (no spice) to try to firm up the stool, this is high surrounded by fiber & vitamins.

Check the labels of foods or GOOGLE sites w/ recipes for natural diets to find something for sensitive stomachs.

Good luck!
Answers:    sounds like she has a very sensetive stomach

i suppose changing her diet would be a good idea you can buy tinned cat food for sensetive stomachs or you can start giving her cooked chicken boiled fish and things resembling this kind of food is not to rich for her and it will help harden her stools up a bit
Have you changed her food? She might call for a senior cat food formula, might want to consult the vet asking what would calm down her tummy. Her WBC count was big and she didn't have an infection, so that is positive, but just approaching people with IBS she might need a simple correction in diet. Good Luck!
she could have a bowel obstruction which can be caused from spike balls
I think he has nutty cat disease
You could thieve her to another vet for a second opinion. That's what I would do. Maybe a change within food could help, is she eating a senior cat forumula?
In the mean time, hold treating her and make sure she always have plenty of fresh water, as diarrhea dehydrates you very quickly.
