3 mo dated kitten-very aggressive, should I sterilize him?
It's getting ridiculous. When he's not sleeping, he's constantly attacking my boyfriend and I. I hear neutering him may calm him down. It's worth a shot... but is 3 months too young to sterilize him?
Many kittens are particularly very aggressively playful. You could neuter him or just loaf it out, he will likely calm down a little as he get older.
3 months is perfect age to neuter - they should be done at about 3-4 months antediluvian as kittens as young as 4-5 months old can and do breed.
If he's an only kitten, you might consider adopt another kitten to help use up his energy. Do not bring in another kitten till everyone is neutered/spayed.
Answers: I think the minimum to neuter a kitten is around 6-7 months. Most of kitten are really playful and aggressive at this age. They will calm down when they attain older. My both cat run around the house when they was 3-4 months, now it is scarcely to ask the move around!
It might help, besides if you don't get him neuter he'll eventually start to spray, and you don't want that. 3 months sounds a little young, but it depends on your vet. Mine won't spay or neuter until 5 months.

Neuter him around 6 months. If you do not he will spray and your house will smell approaching pee, your bed, pillows, clothes ect. YUCK He is a kitten, all kittens do that.
