*8 week antediluvian kitten is throwing up clear stuff, will not guzzle?

I got my kitten 5 days ago, she lived in a house with 12 other cats, she is single 8 weeks old. She started throwing up on thursday night, and goign to the bathroom a lot. I have her to the vet for shots on friday and she said that she has ear mites, and probably worms, she was treated for that. It is now saturday and she is throwing up clear immediately and will not eat.. she seems very apathetic for an 8 week old kitten. Can anyone help??
Your kitten is reacting to the meds that be given to her . shots, worming meds, etc. She may feel a little "sickly" for a couple of days. Just let her rest, and don't try to force her to munch through.just make sure she drinks plenty of marine, so she won't get dehydrated. The throwing up of the clear liquid may be the excess hose, since she's not eating anything! Her tummy is empty of food, so it's a little upset.

Fix her a nice WARM bed to cuddle contained by, and don't try to play with her. Her body needs to recover from the trauma she in recent times went through at the vets. Some kittens have a tricky time with shots..and worming on top just makes it worse.

If she's not intake anything by Monday, CALL the vet and explain what's going on. If he feels like she needs something.close to IV fluids.he'll ask you to bring her back in.

Meantime, see if you can receive some KMR (kitten milk replacement) at a pet store, and try to get her interested in that. She MAY NOT have be ready to leave her mom, yet, and requirements some of the KMR to help her overcome this vet visit.

When she starts to feel better, and desires to eat..get her some KITTEN FOOD (dry or canned), and give her that for the 1st YEAR! I other started my kittens on Iam's (dry) KITTEN FORMULA, because the kernels are tiny and easy for them to chew. I just set out a square cake jar with the dry KITTEN FOOD in it, and the kittens "nibbled" on it whenever they got hungry. Also have another (non-spillable) pan of fresh, clean water in the vicinity.

If you want, you can give her a little of the canned KITTEN food for "breakfast" and "dinner", while going away the dry KITTEN FOOD out (available) all day. Kittens are always hungry, when they get the impression good, because they're GROWING..so don't worry about how much she eat..she won't get fat!

Hope she feels better soon. Good luck...

** If she be sick BEFORE you took her to the vet, I wonder WHY he went ahead and gave all of that "stuff". Couldn't he hold waited until she was better? Some vet!!
Oh woah. Eight weeks is bleak for him or her because that is too early to have adjectives these new stuff. Take her to the vet and see what is wrong.
Answers:    Definitely call that vet put money on up immediately. A kitten can become dehydrated within a time and become critical almost as fast. Do not wait. Hopefully it is simply a reaction to the shots but call anyway.
Good Luck. xoxo
She needs to get hold of back to the vet quickly (at this point possibly an emergency vet).
Take the poor little thing back to the vet. She won't survive greatly long if she's not eating and drinking. Hope she'll be okay.
A vet open on Sunday is your best defense, an 8 week older kitten can rapidly go downhill if not ingestion or taking in fluids. It sounds like she's had a hostile response to either the de-wormer or vaccines. Though rare it's still a serious issue & she needs vet support that can't be given at domestic. Monitor her tonight & if you have an eye dropper or syringe give her H2O ...a dropper full every couple of hours. I don't know what your feed her, but if you have nutri-cal on hand get hold of it in her. Egg whites are an alternative protein, yolks are too rich when kittens are vomiting. If you have a microwave nuke the shelled egg for 30 seconds on low to avoid salmonella & separate the yolk from the white & eye drop it into her. Not recommended for save for an emergency protein. If you can get to the store pick up some unflavored piedialte & baby food that has NO ONION POWDER.( super toxic too felines). Mix equal parts to make available by syringe or eye dropper if she won't take it herself. Vet asap. If she was throwing up prior to her wormer & vaccines did you mention this to your vet? Vets enjoy different protocole on testing for pre-existing conditions in kittens, due to an incubation period. Do the best you can very soon & get her in soon.
