A greatly unpromising cat...please lend a hand me?

My husband and I found a 5 wk old kitten in May. I'm an animal lover and I couldn't leave her on the street. Every since she be little she has been a biter. She doesn't scratch, single bites really hard. We have tried a squirt bottle, clapping, saying psst, the computer duster can air to scare her, everything and she just wont stop biting and destroying stuff. And she know what shes not supposed to do, such as tear up my Christmas tree. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong and its been 7 months. Everyone have been telling me that she'll get better when shes elder but I find that hard to believe. I'm about ready to bequeath her away or drop her off at a shelter. I just cant do it anymore. Anyone own any thoughts or ideas?? Or if you live near St Louis and want to rescue a cat please agree to me know!
Is she spayed? That could be section of the problem, Try walking away from her when she goes in for the bite. I have a cat like this and it took abourt a year or so but she finally stopped biting. It worth a try.
She sounds like she is bored. There are toys that usually will occupy them from making messes. You can buy them scratching post beside a little toy on top.or toys with catnip in them. or my cat's favorite ball with bells in them or something with a string on it.
It's possible that she may get better as she gets older. But for the time man that cat still fells wild. Just do what you need to do to offer this cat lots and lots of love so that it learns that you are it's new mommy and daddy. The things you've tried DO work, so just keep hold of trying. I know it can be frustrating and difficult at times, but remember it's only a kitten. Try getting a scratching post and putting catnip on it. That might divert the kitty's attention. Good Luck!
at 5 weeks they need to be with their mom still.. or at most minuscule indoors and taken care of BUT you found her so she isnt legally yours.. somebody might actually be looking for her (beleive it or not inhabitants do steal cats and dump them elsewhere)

so.. your first act is to call the animal shelter or pound and report FINDING her..

NEVER give a path a kitten to somebody you dont know 100% - did you know most serial killers started out on "Free to Good Home" pets?
also people can take free pets and provide them to research labs she has a better chance at finding a good domestic by taking her to the shelter

SO if you are not going to keep it yourself.. take it to the shelter so they can SCREEN potential brand new owners - if y

if you dont know wher a shelter is - call a vet.

WHOOPS of late noticed you found her in May - oh well - you should still transport her to the shelter to be rehomed - did you have her spayed?? she should have been spayed by in a minute?

Answers:    Your kitten obviously had a very doomed to failure start in life, probably had to bite to guard herself to survive and doesn't know it's wrong. No cat is bad, it isn't in them to be, it's simply their instinct telling them that biting protects them. She will get better as she get older and trusts you more, but meanwhile, have you any catnip toys ? When she goes to bite you, or anything else she shouldn't, put a toy surrounded by front of her, don't push it, just hold it gently to her. If you can also get her a kickable size catnip toy, or even manufacture one out of an old towel with some catnip wrapped in it, she can own a go at that to release her aggression. Have her spayed if you haven't already, that will help harmony her down. Kittens like this need lots of time and patience but I'm certain if you decide to keep her, you'll be rewarded by her fitting behaviour in the future.Don't verbs about the Christmas tree this year, just have a beaming Christmas not giving up on her.
The vet think jasper have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy ?   My cat keep atacking folks?   My kitten is drinking close to crazy what should I do?   Do your cats eyes dilate...?
