Any suggestions for my cat's clawing problem?

So i have a cat/kitten. I really couldnt tell you her age because i just found her a stray and adjectives so i took her in. I know cats/kittens claw but like she doesnt just do couches, etc. She claws beside every single step she takes! Like she grasps the floor even when theres nothing to claw. Its getting really bad and merely to let you know i am against declawing. Any suggestions on what i can do? Please help! Thankyou .
Her claws might need trimming whether they are catching on everything when she walks. Cats have preferences for the types of texture they like to score, so you'll need to offer her a few alternatives; sisal post, corrugated cardboard, wooden log etc., until you find something she enjoys scratch. Reward her with food treats and praise when she uses it to encourage her.

This network site has helpful advice on education them to use a scratch post and how to keep their claws trimmed.

Bless you for taking in a stray cat and giving her the chance to know what it is to enjoy a loving home. Hope you have many elated years together ahead of you.
Make sure to have a big cat tree in the nouns the cat frequents the most...with lots of sisal rope on it. I found these plastic boxed shaped units with cardboard contained by it...they are inexpensive and I have about three throughout the house. My cat loves those. I also found these trendy mats for areas at costco that hold a nice border and are made of weaved sisal rope in the middle. also get a product call sticky paws and put it on the furniture that the cat likes to claw at.
Answers:    Theres a spray called "No scrape spray", or something similar, you can get from the pet shop, can cost around 12-16 AUD. it smells a bit like lemons, it deters your cats from scratching things approaching carpet, couches, basically anything you spray it on. Be aware tho that the older the cat the smaller number likely it is to work

My cat Lala does the "Claw every step she takes" i found over time she reduced that as it was nerves being contained by a new environment. she only does it now whether she is really nervous and if we have strangers contained by the house. I dont believe in declawing either, i think too copious things can go wrong with it and the cats hate it. See whether the spray on stuff works, and avoid using catnip around your kitty while theyre like this :)

scratching posts can work, but only 2 of 4 of my cats use one. beside the clawing and walking id say its just nerves but its worth trying besides
My 1st suggestion would be declawing but there are many other things/ways, Soft tips for cats and you can clip them your self or take her to the vet to be sheltered. Invest in a scratching post. they have heaps kinds. Good Luck!
