Any suggestions on schooling a kitten not to bite?

We just got a kitten a little over a month ago and she is really sweet. The piece is she likes to bite when she is playing (which wasn't a big deal because she is small and it doesn't really hurt) but my concern is now that she is starting to grow more she is starting to bite a moment or two harder and I wanted to try to break her of this before it gets out of paw. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Depends on how old the kitten was when you got it...whether it was removed too earley from mama and littermates, it may be why. Also the kitty could be teething, try to redirect kitty with a toy to chew on instead. using toys to play instead of your hand is always a good idea besides. Good Luck!
spray some wet on her with a spray bottle and firmly say no, then pace out of the room, she'll understand after a little while not to bite. Another way is when she starts biting you divert her attention. Give her a touch stuffed animal and she'll rough house with it instead of rough housing with you. Shes just playing and doesnt denote to hurt you. Good luck.
Answers:    The best method I've found is to not play rough with her. When she gets too rough, simply stop playing and say "no!" massively firmly. If she won't quit, gently grab her by the scruff of the neck, the method her mother used to carry her, and give a very serene shake. This is the natural discipline method of her mother and should calm her down fairly promptly. Don't encourage her to attack your fingers or toes under the covers or anything like that and she'll outgrow it soon satisfactory.

Sometimes cats are persistent biters and when that occurs, I have found that instead of pulling absent, push your hand into the mouth gently but firmly. They don't like the intrusion and after a few times, they acquire the hint.

Other than these tips, some good sturdy toys that can take the ill-treat will be the best thing for her. Good luck and enjoy your new friend!
