Any apt anti odour cat litter products?
i have a 9 month old kitten who wont go external right now because its too cold for her(i live in scotland)so she uses the litter tray all the time but even though i modification the litter daily(which ends up costing a bomb)and remove any poos straight away it absolulty stinks!!im soooo paraniod that ppl can smell it when they come in my house.i dont want to be the lady whos house stinks approaching cat p(a)ss...any good product or suggestions plsssss help
Yes I use Swheat scoop litter, then I add in the region of 1/2 cup of arm & hammer room refresher to the litter. It works wonders. I also use a litterbox called the Booda Step. It seems to oblige contain odors also.
I find that the baking soda within the bottom of the litter tray under the litter is a great odour neutraliser. I also wash out the litter box itself with white vinegar as it get rid of the smell really effectively.
Answers: I have be on a search for 10 years to find a litter that doesn't smell even after you clean it...recently I FOUND IT!! Seriously, Arm & Hammer ESSENTIALS. It is the most brilliant litter ever. One of our cats just had kittens and all six of them, plus the mom be using one litter box in a 13x10 bedroom and you couldn't smell a thing! It is a little more expensive but it is also supposedly "GREEN" (earth friendly).
Arm and hammer odor alert litter with arm and hammer litter deoderizer. The clumps turn blue for natural removal and you springle the deoderizer when ever it starts to smell.
