Anybody ever use Feliway for their cats? How did it work? ?
I need my newest cat to calm down and not chase my other guys...does anybody own any experience with Feliway helping this situation? Thanks.
i have tried it to unruffled my cats down cause one was peeing on everything. and it didnt work..at all. it might work for your cat but it didnt for mine. but you never know mine could only just be weird cause they also dont really like catnip any.
i think it is a waste of money but you can always try it once. and i bet whether you just give your new cat some time to in control down then he will stop chasing the others. he is just in a untried surrounding and needs to state his claim on the house :)
Feliway is pretty appropriate at calming down stressed out cats. However if your kitty is just nuts and not truly stressed, it may not work!
Feliway is a copy of the facial phermone cats secrete - the one they deposit on things they rub their faces on when they're content.
I used the diffuser for my old cat when I moved her surrounded by and it did seem to have good effect. The spray is really for use within cat baskets for travel stress, and cages at the vets. Get the diffuser for your house.

Answers: I don't know much about it nor heard perfect or bad things about it.. I"m a Bach's Rescue Remedy fan (heathfood stores) as powerfully as Tellington TTouch fan (check out YouTube for Linda's work with cats).
Rescue Remedy takes them out of fifth gear and removes the emotionality of the situation and Tellington TTouch literally rewires their brain. I've have excellent results with both but TTouch for permanent change, RR for temp situations.
I haven't personally used it, but a vet recommended it for one of my cats who was road to skittish. I didn't get it, and she eventually came around. (She was an abused rescue kitty..) But the vet said it be great and really worked, that she used it at her shelter.
