Anyone enjoy a cat beside congestive heart flop?

My cat Paige (Mama) has had three thoracentesis procedures in the final three weeks, to relieve the pressure on her heart and lungs. She's due for another procedure, as she's breathing heavy again. I'm waiting on results to rule out a tumor.

I'm not sure how much more of this she can take (the bodily stress, and the vet trips). She's taking Enalapril (heart) and Salix (diuretic), but her body cavity keep filling with fluid. I asked the vet about other treatments, and if her with a web article about other meds that may work better, she hasn't gotten rear with me about alternative treatments yet.

Has anyone have success with other meds or procedures for feline congestive heart bomb?

I'm mentally preparing myself for the inevitable if she doesn't get better soon. I don't want her to suffer, but if I can get hold of her proper treatment that will extend her life, I'll do it.

Suggestions for Mama?
Answers:    3 thoracocentesis procedures is an awful lot. As you say, the two most predictable conditions are congestive heart failure or cancer somewhere in the thorax.
She's on enalapril and frusemide already and that's not leeping the fluid at bay, so I would one-sidedly be adding in another diuretic as well as the frusemide, close to spironolactone. However, it sounds like your cats disease is severe and this may not do the job either, particularly if there's cancer going on.
Certainly you need to speak to your vet about this, it is not for you to find out treatments for your cat - to be exact the vets job and it is them that know about your cats individual grip and what needs to be done for her. There comes a point where you can be giving all the right drugs, but the body become non-responsive and congestive heart failure will only worsen, sadly I undeniably would be considering euthanasia.

Edit - I don't see why it couldn't be used in cats, unless they have renal or hepatic issues.
my kitten is 6 mths infirm and spayed i hold have her 1wk when can i agree to her step out?   Should I put my cat down? Is he surrounded by headache?   Is it really cruel to own a cat declawed?   A man who kill and buries cats.?
