Anyone hold a cat that be vomiting for 3 days and not drinking and it survived?
What was wrong with it?
yes, you inevitability to take him to the vet.. there could be something going wrong.. DUH
It was not my cat but the hospital I work at treated many that be brought in that way. Most survived but it took IV fluids and great supportive care while within the hospital.
As far as the cause? Some reasons were a foreign body requiring surgery, a virus that needed to run its course, or worse...
The single thing I can tell you for sure is that your loved one will not survive minus immediate medical intervention.
Good luck and I hope he/she feels better soon.
Answers: I had a cat once that layed down surrounded by the garage and didn't move for about a week. He didn't eat anything and drank a little bit of wet that I sit in front of his face. He eventually came around and that be 6 years ago and he's still kicking at age 13! I dont know what happened to him.
No, we had two and they both didn't produce it. We took them to the vet the next morning after they got sick and they both died at the vets a couple of days latter. One this year and one last year. No one can figure out what the cause be. Hope you have better luck.
You do realize the answers are ordinary nation not Vets. I must say this is about the most imnhumane question I hold seen posted. I notice your last sentence used 'was' not ;is'. Have you already lost your pet while you be polling YA on the odds of whether your cat would live or die. Please never get any more pets.notice I didn't use the word adopt that imply you want the pet and will take care of him.
If I know someone whose cat was vomiting for three days and they didn't take it to a vet, I could safely say-so that the cat wouldn't be the only one in danger of not surviving.
its sick I don`t know its a hairball or something, seek professional help ASAP
Please rush him to the vet, or pray St Obama to save him !
To tell you I have a cat he barfed like mad for a week and didn't eat for 4 days he is still alive we didn't go to a vet but, that choice is yours. :) Good Luck with your cat.
