Are two cats better than one cat?
I have two dogs and one cat already. Im definitely an animal lover and im striving to become a vet one day. I enjoy researched this already on the internet, but im looking for people's opinions on having two cats. I am interested in this cat at the shelter, but im have trouble convincing the rest of the family that two cats can be a positive thing.
It depends on the cat. I thought my cat might want a friend so as a exam, I brought home a foster cat. My cat hated her. Violently. She was aggressive and hissing and turned from a sweet playful kitty into a bad, mean little monster. But some cats like company. I'm not an expert, but I've heard that masculine cats accept companions better. Females are more territorial.

Think about this, if you grew up lacking a sibling, have you ever thought how much better it would be to have a sibling to relate to?
now cat's speak their own "language" let's influence, and without any form of communication/interaction with any other pet's will some times lead to depression!!
2 cats = more $/vet trips!!

2. Cats need constant stimulation and they love to cuddle up to each other. Plus when your not domestic, they always have someone to be with.
I think it is better to have two cats fairly than just one.
That way they a friend, of their own species, that they

Answers: Ae you thinking of getting another CAT, or a kitten? Is this "shelter" cat older or younger than your "resident" cat? Is it one and the same sex? Is it "hyper or laid back"?
It really depends on you! Do you want a playmate for your cat, one that will bond with the other. Or, do you want your cat to still be YOUR pet?
Sometimes, when there's more than one cat, they'll ignore the "people" and just play / bond near each other. Sometimes, they'll both bond with the people.
It depends on the cat.but kittens will generally bond with the cat!
