Can a cat take a sore throat? ?
My cat always meows when i come into a room and now when he goes to meow his mouth moves but no hullabaloo. It also sounds like it's a little rough for him to swallow. After he Tries to meow he swallows then he does this entry like he's going to be sick but nothing happens.
Answers: Absolutely Yes! And, the removal of a meow is a good indication that something is not right. So off to the vet. It might be something else, but definitely he wants some help.

not likely. you should transport him to the vet for a check-up. it could be something more serious than a soar throat, cats don't get soar throats. take him soon and good luck!
