Can an full-size purebred ragdoll be alone at domestic for ~8 hours?

My husband and I work full time and we'd like to adopt a ragdoll, how well does it deal beside being alone?
Also, we'd rather take it contained by when it's already an adult (about a year old), will that make it easier for the cat to be alone?

We don't have any experience next to kittens, both our previous cats were already adults when we adopted them (the first one run away and the other one was disabled and died early due to congenital defects).
This time, we'd resembling to spoil ourselves and get a purebred who will stay home and we'll know it's whole genetic history.
Yes. My neighbors went absent for 5 days and I went over twice a day to feed Charlie and love on him and to my comprehension he did just fine. In fact my husband that is not a cat personality fell in love and we are now looking to rescue a tri color. Charlie was what I call upon a white calico.
any adult cat is normally fine by itself for 8 hrs at a time. I enjoy errands to run during the day and my bf works. We have four cats that are home alone within that time. Kittens-hehe require a bit of work and attention. Lol i know you should know that. But like any adult cat, if you win a ragdoll it should be content as long as you kitty proof the place and keep food and water down.
Answers:    I wouldn't recommend departure it completely alone for that long, as ragdolls (or MY ragdoll at least) are very social. Just get her another feline companion however, and she'll probably be only fine.

I have an orange tabby and a flamepoint ragdoll, and they play and cuddle together all year, even when I am home. It's better for their socialization and happiness to not be alone for extended periods of time.

You may want to try getting two ragdolls from alike litter, who are already bonded with each other. They'll keep respectively other from getting lonely when you aren't home!
My cat is sick and rotten his food - what to do?   Best no track kitty litter?   My masculine cat started urinating external his box and very soon have severe diarrhea. What can I do for him?   What would come up whether you put away tinned cat food?
