Cat and antifreeze can i impart her something to relief?

D-con.
If EVER your cat or dog or other pet gets into any antifreeze, they inevitability an emergency vet immediately. It only takes as little as a teaspoon full to destroy them.
It has a sweet smell/taste and animals are attracted to it. The best preventative is to keep the cat away from the garage or not allowing them to roam free near no supervision. If you notice any antifreeze leaking, clean it up instantly so it doesn't poison another animal.
lol, why did you 'in recent times want to know'?
thats one hell of a hypothetical question.
No , Thats a commen means of access people will kill cats on purpose whether they are angry, it happened near where i live in the order of 6 montsh ago, we werent meant to let our cats go external as some man was putting antifreeze in bowls of cat food and leaving themplaces
the cats afterwards died, that idiot went to jail & is still in nearby!
the only thing you can present her is a ride to the vet. anti freeze kills quickly, and it is a horible way to die. caught within time, cat can be saved.
Save yourself a vet bill, I'm sorry but it's to late.
Anyone suggesting you take it to the vet is ill-informed, but whether it makes you feel better, then jump to one.
But it is too late.
Sorry for your loss.
Antifreeze KILLS cats. It is fatal. There is little even a vet can do if a cat drinks antifreeze. The liquid taste sweet, so it draws animals to drink it. It important you don't let anyone leave antifreeze sitting around after varying it out of a car. If an animal drinks it they can be dead within hours. Even a discharge under the car can be fatal. This is a poison to any living animal. Take it seriously!
No, you'd take her to a VET.
Have you ever heard of a /human/ cure for poisoning that involves consumption certain food? No.
Answers: You haul your butt within to the vet ASAP.
Generally, your vet will enduce vomiting, then attempt to reduce the acidity of the blood. Antifreeze make the blood more acidic, which allows crystals to form as it is metabolized. These crystals destroy the kidneys in a situation of hours.
Kidney failure is only part of the overexploit that antifreeze causes. Neurological symptoms and severe GI upset fit the bill as well.
The moral of the story - induce vomiting under veterinary opinion. Alcohol (at correct % and dose) helps complete metabolization to prevent crystals from forming. Again, to be used below veterinary recommendation only.
No nothing, your cat would need vet care, and that doesn't even garuntee the cats survival.
No there isn't. any cat that is suspected of ingesting antifreeze should be taken to the vet without delay or it will die.
Drain her radiator and check her oil while you are at it.
vets will administer activated charcoal. the charcoal will absorb the poison. its your with the sole purpose chance at saving that animals life. its noteworthy that this is done by a professional only as soon as possible. they are trained on how to use the medication. you and i and the rest of us here are not.
