Cat constipated after vaccine?
My cat got his 2 vaccines on Fri. The next morning I noticed he feel a little hot but he was fine later. In the evening on Sat, his stool be really hard, I thought maybe due to the fever dehydrating him a bit. Today Sunday, he seems to be OK all day but he have no BM and just this evening, he threw up real big after he ate. I will call his Vet tomorrow morning but does this nouns normal after vaccination?
It would be safe to call the vet basically in case.
But something very similar happen to my
cat after he got vaccinated, he got a moment or two
constipated. But I've never heard of a cat
getting diarrhea after getting vaccinated.
It very well could be due to the vaccines. My cats never really had a aversion, but I guess like with kiddos some have reaction some don't. I would assume the same with animals.
But you are doing the right thing surrounded by getting ahold of the vet in the morning.
Answers: Until he sees the vet, mix up some of the grease and juices from wet cat food with some sea and try to get him to suck a little of that up. This will help next to dehydration which is very possible, and get a little nutrition contained by him without further blocking him up.
