Cats alone for a week expiration?
hello
Two cats can they remain alone from Friday evening till Sunday (with food and water evidemment) thank you
That is right.
Your fine, just make certain there is plenty of water and food just contained by case your are gone a little longer. Clean the kitty box before you exit.
I have seven cats, there are three large bowls of wet, plus a little in the bath tub. I also evacuate three large bowls of food plus I leave the 20# bag slightly on the side freshly in case. They have 5 cat boxes, (two are cement mix boxes) I also similar to to leave the radio on and a light so that people suggest that there are people around. I have be making 4 day trips to find a new home contained by another state.
They should be okay for two days, but I would never start out them alone for longer than that!
So long as its only occasionally it should be ok make certain adequate litter trays and food and water also cat toys and scratching posts as in good health for them to have something to do.
Answers: Yes, they can stay alone for a weekend without any problems. As long as they have fresh marine, food and someone comes and cleans the litterbox. Actually, if you have 2 or more litterboxes you could go minus cleaning them (just make sure they are cleaned before you move out your home & clean them when you return).
The cats prefer to stay at home alone than going to some other place (like your friends, kinfolk members, etc).
I left my cats alone several times (I have 3 cats), sometimes for more than 3 days and they be fine.
You could leave them some of your clothes around the house (so they can smell your scent) but it's not necessary.
Some people be off a light on or a radio on. Again, I don't think it's necessary. Like I said, as long as they hold food and water, they will be fine.
Most likely yes, cats are independent in moral fibre, if they are used to free feeding, they will most likely be fine.
Just have someone drop by saturday afternoon and check on them and clean the litter box, and furnish them fresh water and make sure they own enough food and they are alright etc.
Yes. We leave big bowls of food and water and an extra litter box. They are fine.
I agree with what everyone has said, but would add one entry. If you don't have someone coming in to scoop the litter box (or boxes), you might put in one or two boxes at least temporarily. It can be something as simple as one of the $3 litter pans, or you could even use a large aluminum roasting container that can be tossed out when you return. Some cats are pretty finicky about the litter box and you might come home to some surprises if they don't enjoy clean litter available.
yes, they will be fine. Just leave tons of food and water. =)
don't forget, a clean liter box
Of course.
yeh the will be fine as long as they can draw from in and out the house. x
