Cats behavior...its starts at 1am presently?
i have a nine year old siamese. she goes thru spells where on earth she will at the same time every nite now its 1am. that she will run and growl for about 5 minutes. does anyone else hold a cat that does this also. she will do this for about 2 months then it stops and in going on for 6 months she will do it again sometimes though the time will be at 3 am. she gets in a habit of taking this run and growl time. does anyone else experience indistinguishable thing?
Mabey dah Kitty is contained by heat!
i haven't experienced but this may be your problem...!
What you could be dealing with is not your cat, cat's can only see gray and white right? and within gray and white (dogs+cats do this all the time) see ghost's your cat has no way of physically unfolding you so she gets up and runs to the ghost that way she think you can see but not all humans can see ghost's only ghost whisper, but get more answer's and if you think my answer'';'s apposite find out how to fclear your ghost from your house.
your cat is in much greater danger outdoors?
and the great outdoors is a greatly unsafe place for cats to begin with.
There are better ways to handle behavioral problems.
And near are some interesting and effective alternatives.
all the best to you and you Cat.
Thanks
Has your cat been neuter? If not that can be the problem. Especially in female cats, times of heat can be really painful for them. The reason for the cry at night is not just is she in pain, but also seeking to mate. This site here cat help you explain kitty vocals!
Hope it helped!

Answers: All cats act silly from time to time. Its simply those wildcat genes showing through!
you might want to try getting her some toy mice to attack and play with. i gave my aunt's 14 year old cat a mouse toy once, and to my aunts surprise, the cat newly LOVED it!
never underestimate an older kitty =]
That cat isn't seeing things like ghost. It's quite obvious that your cat needs some attention. Are you or times past owners abusing it. If that's not the case, you should leave the problem alone, the vet would think you're crazy if you tell them the story.
Our cats ALL react to the city's street sweepers that come by in the rash morning hours. The hissing sound of the brushes has them running everywhere and getting upset. It's possible your city's street sweepers are causing this. If it never happen in winter when snow is on the ground I'd suspect this as the cause.
