Cats have wheezing breaths and is hiding absent?
She has been out alld ay and we didnt realise she came within until a while ago inwhich she was hidden under the table.
She have wheezing breaths and doesnt look her normal self and isnt moving around. She can move but doesnt want to
We are taking her to the vet in 30minutes
Our neighbour has rat poison contained by their garage but apart from that there are no other poisons
Any ideas as to what might be wrong?
run to the vet now and do not wait.
If she was normal yesterday and showing no signs of malady - she may have tried to eat something which has stuck surrounded by her throat causing the wheezing.
She could have been hit by a coup¨¦ and have damaged/broken ribs
If she's frightened, she will hide. That's what they do unfortunately.
Answers: the vet will probably know but could be poisoning. could also be fighting next to another cat or may be feline flu but that usually takes a few days to show its not so sudden i dont presume. hope kitty is ok!
it could also be furballs if she is coughing
