Cats solution pus in a minute gluey?
my cat had a cut on his leg with liquid pus coming out and he couldn't stroll now hes better and he can walk now the pus is gelatinous was does that mean if you one of those citizens who say "if your gonna have a pet form sure you can pay for a vet bill" be quiet
He have a bad infection in that leg from an abscess. He does need to see a vet, possibly to hold it lanced and for sure given antibiotics. This infection travels through the blood stream causing the infection to spread throughout the body next to more abscess developing.
That money that more white blood cells are accumulating to try and kill the infection. Just so you know, its probably not going to shift away on its own. If you can't afford to take care of things resembling this for your cat, he would be better off at a no kill animal rescue where they will steal care of him. I am not trying to be mean, but not providing medical care for a serious condition is in actual fact something that you would lose your cat for if the ASPCA or Humane Society found out about. I would suggest calling them to see whether they can offer a low cost program for you based on your situation. This is coming from someone who is laid off from my duty, unemployment doesn't pay all of my bills an I am wondering where on earth I will find money to pay my rent next week. But I will do whatever it take to save my cats life, including borrowing money from friend or family, and asking animal organization for help. As a last resort, finding someone willing to rob care of the cat instead of me, if necessary.
It's an infection and he needs antibiotics. If you are not going to take him to the vet next at least clean out the wound with hydrogen peroxide. It is extraordinarily important that the wound heal from the inside out, so if it scabs over you will own to remove the scab and clean beneath it.
i had a cat that use to come home with absys on it an i couldnt afford to pinch it to the vet so i use to cut as much of his fur away from th site as possible then get as much of the puss out of the wound afterwards clean it with salt dampen then fill the wound with anticiptic powder an the wound would alleviate in no time it may take a while to do as it use to take me rather some time but i had no choice but to perservere with the cat scratches an growling but my cat other loved me after it was over
Answers: did u treat it beside anything? try taking all the puss out, and maybe apply some neosporin , if he can waddle again, its good news , but if possible, atleast be in motion to a clinic instead of a vet, they are cheaper, if the puss doesnt go away soon
