Cat's mouth is swollen, what's wrong near him?

i noticed that my cat's mouth (lips? i don't know what to call it) was a short time pinkish yesterday, and today that spot is redder and swollen. aside from that, he's acting normal and eating very well as usual. he stays indoor always, so he couldn't have gotten hurt outside. should i keep on longer or is this sign of a serious problem, and i should bring him to a vet?

Could be anything from a cyst to a tumor, infection, allergy, abscess, foreign body or . Definitely requests to be seen by a vet before it gets worse and your kitty stops drinking.

Answers:    hiya it sounds like you need to take your kitty to the vet only for a check up , it could be something it could be nothing , maybe been chewing on something external and agrivated it , or maybe a gum infection or start of a tumour , my cat had mouth tumour , she had it removed and some teeth and aws fine after .

The kitty needs to jump. is it an emergancy, no, but he needs to go.
