Both, but I'm probably more of a cat person. There's nought more irresistable then kittens.

I have one of each, both females. However, I'm totally a dog human being! I love their willingness to please. My cat could give a crap if she get to spend time with me. My dog will go nuts if I'm not domestic by my usual time.
I love them both but prefer the dog.

both. Cats are self contained except to change their litter and feed them, but dogs are more fun to do stuff next to and you can take them places. Cats dont like leashes

Cats are way easier although the clawing does destroy your house. I love our dogs but there a huge cramp in the *** they bark all the time and keep hold of digging out of the fence and now we have to hang on to them tied up..
