Cats tail shaking, give a hand?
my friend cat had to move out of her place months ago maybe a year ago and they gave her cats to her sister, and the cats be there for along time, well she says when she get her cats back one of the cats would shake his tall really fast adjectives the time. when he never shook it that way before, he hasn't been to the vet even so but she thinks her sister slammed the cats tail in the door by accident... Do you dream up if that was true (she doesn't know if that's what happened) But could that be by his tail shakes similar to that cause she messed up his nerve ends in his tail? he seem find though he does the same things he's done before, still loving and playful but i was lately wondering if that's why he does that now
is it like a weird vibrating benign of shake? kind of like a male cat spraying- but no urine comes out? i enjoy a cat that does this when i bring him outside of the apt. because he is scared. or that's what i think any track, because he does not do it inside
it is probably just the stress. One of my cats just died, and one of my living cats tail is shaking resembling that now. Just give him some time to adjust to his new environment. It takes time to get used to something new. If it continues for more than a year, afterwards I would be very concerned. Until then, don't worry roughly speaking it.
if you have a form issue with a pet you don't understand, a trip to the vet really is in the kitty's best interest. They can check things over and engineer sure that the tail isn't broken or damaged in any approach.
Stress for a cat doesn't have to just do with dying. Lots of things stress a cat out, moving, loud noise, dogs in the neighborhood (even if they don't go out) heck, even a litter box that isn't cleaned in a hurry enough can stress a cat out. Cats seem very laid rear legs, but they really are quite neurotic creatures..
according to my cat book, a shaking tail meets excitment.
Answers: If he shakes his tail constantly, then it's worth taking him to the vet merely in case there's a neurological problem.
However, if he raise his tail and vibrates it when he greets your friend, he's "feather dancing" and it simply means that he is extraordinarily happy to see her. Our female cat does this, and whilst shaking her tail, she also does a treading/dancing motion with her hindmost feet.
