Challenges for my inquisitive kitten?

My kitten is 17 weeks old, and she seems to be getting bored being inside.

She have plenty of toys, but nothing that really challenges her. Recently, she's taken to ripping open the tab on her kitten biscuits contained by order to get to them. She has plenty of food, so it's not because she's hungry- she is only setting herself a challenge.

What can I do to try and occupy her inquisitive nature? She's far too young to progress outside, and she has a scratching post/ bouncy toys on elastic/ things to chew

We put a ball with a bell surrounded by in a paper bag. It drove him crazy trying to find what be making the noise.
Hide kitty treats around the house for her to hunt. Cardboard boxes she can hide and jump surrounded by and out of will be fun too.
