Claw sheath contained by cat's proboscis?

There is a claw sheath stuck in my cat's nose. It's on the outside of the muzzle, but the sheath is stuck in pretty well. My question is how do I remove it? Is within any way to make it easier and less uncomfortable for both of us? I don't want her clawing me, but I think the claw should come out.
whip it to the vet. it will be much less painful for both of you!
Grab it and pull it out. Quick and smooth. She probably won't even know you're doing it till its done.
Answers:    Before you pick up the cat, get your "supplies" ready. Towel to wrap it within, tweezers to pull sheath out. Set these up in your bathroom.

Then get the cat, wrap it GOOD within the towel (be sure to contain claws), and hold it on the cabinet with one arm around her, and using the tweezers, pluck the sheath out.QUICKLY.

You need to do this pretty express, or she'll get "antsy" and squirm out of the towel. This what I had to do (towel wrap), when I was giving my cat some UTI meds. She fought resembling a wild cat, so I had to completely disable her...worked, though!!

If the nose bleeds, purely put a "spot" of Neosporin (or other antibacterial ointment) into the hole. Rub it in real all right, so she won't lick too much of it off.

Hope this helps.Good luck.
