Colostomy lots for cats?

can cats have colostomy bags...or what happens to them when they cant urinate by themselves.can i do it manually for her?
Answers:    A colostomy pod would be used when something is wrong with the bowel, that is, for "poo" rather than "pee".

There are things that vet can do if a cat has a blockage in the urinary tract, but whether the kidneys themselves shut down, options are limited. If the kidneys just slow down a bit, the cat can sometimes be help with a special diet that is lower in protein than the typical cat food. (Normally this food is prescribed and sold by the vet.) I own heard of some cases where the cat may be given fluids through a needle below the skin to help the kidneys along. However, if the the kidneys completely stop functioning, nothing can be done.

I hope the vet can soon narrate you what your options are for your cat. I know you must be very worried.
That's really a question for your vet. Why can't she urinate? If she is blocked or something, the vet will catheter her, clear out the blockage and later give her meds.
