Communicating near my kitten?
How can I communicate with my cat? and how can I regconize what she's trying to communicate to me? (ex; she meows REALLY loud when she hungry and tries to send me in the direction of the food bowl.)
you should telephone call a tv network... sounds like your cat is like a superhero or something beside special meowing powers. Would be quite a hit with the shut-ins I'd think!
Cats have a limited set of needs. Understanding and crowd them can be easy. First understand that most kittens never eat alone, commonly feel the other kittens breathing and moving while eating. This is a time of pleasure and affection. So as you may notice intake is more that just hungry it is associated with affection, contact, and warmth. Kittens close to to eat with someone if the litter they are from be not overly competitive. In that case some aggression may exist and much time will be needed to change the feeding experience. Cats natter with contact and sounds. They look for a mother. What does mom do? She breaths while kitten eats. Kitten likes the rise and go down of a belly breathing, the short hums a mom makes, the reply to a cry she makes next to just some attention, simulated cleaning, gentle playing. All is physical communication. In time you will feel the cats wants and wants just by paying attention to the mannerism. Never force anything or restrict movement. Allow the kitten to feel he needs to come to you in most cases and they will. Warmth, movements, sounds, adjectives like what a cat feels while laying next to mom should build a great bond and help you understand him better.
No need to communicate, you should learn what your cat needs.
A cat can know what your truism, like if it's her name or something.
A cat can convey if your communicating to another person but won't understand.
All our cats have been angling for mobile phones for Christmas; they vote, that way, when they're out digging up the neighbours vegetable patch or pooing on their lawn, I will be able to present them a call to say that tea is ready. Or whether I am late back they could call me to find out whether I have picked them up a treat or two on the way home.
Whilst it would be fun to receive them camera phones and see what they take pictures of I prefer the good old muzzle to nose, eye to eye chat.
Seriously: I think cats learn and pick up on body discourse and 'energy' from you more than verbal clues: yes we have to spell out T U N A and V E T but their vocabulary is limited to, I would right to be heard, about 10 words (including their names). As you get to know your cat you will gradually get hold of a kind of subconscious telepathic link to them and will know when they necessitate more food or milk, or if they are not well or in affliction. This is the same 'link' that tells them that you love them and brings them to your bedside when you are unwell.
You will get so much delight and happiness from your new friend as you get to know respectively other and she climbs up your curtains and has an ooops on your favourite rug; then settles snugly surrounded by your lap with a contented purr which will evaporate all your frustrations and worries. Then you will suddenly realise in attendance IS communication!
Answers: As you draw from to know your cat, you will be able to understand and communicate with them on adjectives sorts of levels. For one of our cats, when it was a kitten, my wife would meow and murmur like a mother cat would and near the cat being five years old, he is the most communicative of the three and seems to communicate to us and has no problem telling us what he wants from the inexorable meowing when he is hungry, to the caterwauling when he wants us to come upstairs and throw his ball around, to the quick hmmphs when he is chirpy or mad. Our youngest actually tries to talk, impersonate our voices with a meow that is up and down surrounded by tone almost like he is trying to form words. Also pay special attention to the non-verbals- try looking the cat contained by the eye or indirectly, and slowly blinking: this is a sign of affection and soon it will be repeated. Ears are their most effective communicative tool, and you will soon enough be able to appreciate their varied means of communication and what they mean. Finally, a honourable scratch on their cheek bones is reassuring and can help to collected them down and build confidence between the two of you!
My cat does the exact same entity! He does that because he's hungry. Try feeding your cat canned food every morning. That is what puts my cat on mute for the rest of the day.
