Did the groomer trim my cat's claws too short?

I have never taken a cat to a groomer before, but my 9-month-old long haired cat developed some matting within her legpits (?) that I couldn't remove, so I took her to a pro. To keep trauma to a minimum, I told them she did not need a bath, but she did obligation to be trimmed and her claws needed to be clipped. When I got her back, she seemed OK, but I interest now it's like she has no claws at adjectives! She doesn't seem to mind when I squeeze her paws, but when I do, I don't see any claws sticking out approaching I would expect. It's nice that she can't scratch me anymore when we play, but I am concerned that the groomer may have taken off too much. (As a side register, I did pick a very experienced groomer that was recommended by a friend with a dog, and this woman have groomed cats for years.) She was pretty meek for a day and a half after coming domestic, though she seems to have perked up today and have resumed attacking me in my sleep, so her personality seems equal. Still, I'd be interested in hearing what the experience cat owners out there believe about this. Thank you very much!
no they didn't get trimmed to short if they have been she would be sore on her feet.
Providing your cat is an indoor only cat, and that never goes external, clipping is acceptable. But if your cat is an indoor/outdoor cat, never clip their claws, as their claws are part of their innate defense and abilities to jump up long distances, up to tops of fences, when brave by danger
Personally, I don't get my cat's claws trimmed. But they hold been clipped in the past for vet visit. The groomer squeezed the paw pads and clips at the "quick" - like where the white piece of your nails end. So she probably just did a impressively good job and that's why you don't see claws. If she cut them too short the cat would wince and you'd see that she bled. They'll grow back past you know it :)
Well first of all that doesn't nouns good that you can't extract the claws when you push on the paw. I would call that groomer immediately and ask what the hell she did to you cat. Were you in attendance the whole time if you were than you saw everything she did. Yeah hail as her. Then call you vet. That was a good entity to do not to wash her. Cats are traumatized enough going to a strange place. I am concerned now for your cat. Defiantly phone up you vet. Do you see any dried blood? If you do make sure you tell your vet. I bet they cut them too short which is extremely raw and your cat is traumatized. Don't ever go back there. You entail to check out every groomer you take your cat to. The best ones are the ones that come to your house. The cat is not scared and in her own environment.. Keep us posted. Answers:    As long as the cat is not in spasm or bleeding, then no, the claws were not trimmed too short. I keep my kitten's claws trimmed tremendously short as well, and it seems that within a few days her claws own grown back!
