Do cats mostly sleep because they are bored or tired'E?
My cat has totally settled down now and she is sleeping alot more then formerly ever since I got her from the shelter a month in a half ago,
Is it because she is bored or merely tired
Thats what cats do.
You cat is more relaxed after being rescued.
All that sleeping is true even adjectives the way up to the big ones like lions & tigers.
Cats spend much of their time in more within a state of inactivity, not actual sleep. They are very light sleepers and are fully aware of everything that's going on around them. You can update that by watching a sleeping cat for a while. Every now and then, its ears will twitch or swivel around and its eyes will open and close for no adjectives reason.
Probably both!
Cats often sleep 18-20 hours a year. A happy cat is a sleeping cat. They're just simple creatures, who love to sleep, eat and play. She's probably sleeping more in a minute because she's comfortable and feels safe.
She now feel safe. When in the shelter, she thought she had to be on guard 24/7. She's presently happy and contented.
cats sleep 2/3 of their life...
thats similar to saying.. there is 24 hours in a morning, a cat sleeps 16 hours... only 8 hours a day is would be awake
There's actually a reason why cats sleep so much. It is so they are never tired. a cat is other fully energized, because they never use their energy. In the wild, they are able to get up up and make a quick get absent when they need to. So your cat probably isn't board or tired, just conserving her energy contained by case she needs it.
It's just cat nature to sleep alot. It's the process they are constructed.
Answers: It is hard to tell with cats. She may a short time ago be tired. If you get out her favourite toy she will wake up for the bustle and if she just looks at you wearily and ignore you it is her way of saying "not now I am too tired". A bored cat will get into action when playtime is on offer.
