there is no significant noise difference - it depends on the tempereament of the cat.
although girl kitty are very vocal when in fry, guys are also vocal when talking to other male kitty or gals in heat.
cats are no where close at hand as noisy as dogs - not very loud at all. ;-)

im not certain about the meowing but female cats r more independent...male cat r more sooky similar to little mommys boys lol
I didn't enjoy a problem with the male cat meowing but girl cats are just boring and annoying
males are fun and playful!
