Do you come up with I should still appropriate him to the vet even though the symptoms are gone?

My cat had some ear symptoms, but now they are gone/healing. There's no more discharge or head shaking, and his harmonize is ok again. His bruises are healing. I think it was basically trauma from fighting the other cats?
He does not scratch/itch when I touch the ear, and I put hydrogen peroxide on his small cut that is healing.
I enjoy very little money, so little I'm not sure I could even buy medicine right in a minute even if he needed some. I can't even get presents for christmas.
Keep watching him, catch him checked if there is any swelling.

Save your money &/or check for a free or low cost clinic to get him neuter & keep him inside. This will save you money in the long run as he will not be getting contained by fights or picking up parasites & diseases from other cats.
Don't use Hydrogen peroxide. Simple saline solution(salt water) get it for 6$ at drug marts, and polysporin. Always ask a pharmacist or call a vet(it's free) in the past using Human aids on animals.usually vet receptionists can answer those simple questions. Depending on where u live you should hang on to ur cat inside. They don't NEED to be outdoors. They r quite content to stay inside.get a lazer pointer if u r worries more or less activity.Cats go nuts! just dont build kitty go around in circles.people can be so connote to animals.Anywho, good luck.If u r low on cash, just consent to him be,and you'll know if other symtoms re occur to take him to the vet.
Maybe you should in recent times for a cheackup and maybe get his ears checked out...
If he's not shaking his head, there's no lashing ear wax or ear mites showing, and no discharge it sounds like it's healed up on its own and doesnt' need anyone to look at it. Just save an eye on him for the next week, in case.
Answers:    If he seems ok, i would probably not verbs TOO much. Are there any Petsmarts near you? Most petsmarts that have a Banfield vet service inside hold a free clinic one or two days a week, its first come first serve and you can take your cat in just to be checked and not own to pay anything. They will charge you if it needs medication, but at least possible you could get it looked at for free.
At the very lowest, tell your regular vet about it the next time he go in for shots. They can make a note of it within his chart. Then if it happens again, you can call your vet for counsel.

Remember, calling the vet is free, and they can tell you if he really needs to budge in for an exam or not.
