Does my cat hold a UTI or intestinal problems? Please relief, shes not consciousness all right :(?
Yesterday, my cat regurgitated and had diarrhea. I took her to the vet and they gave her batril. If I try to pick her up she howls in twinge. She hasnt eaten since noon yesterday. We had to force hose down in her with a syringe. She keeps peeing contained by the litterbox and threw up 3 spots of yellow last night. She isnt playing but shes walking around and meowing and occasionally sleeping. The vet say if shes not eating by tomorrow we should take her to a different vet wreak they are closed. Is it an UTI? There's no blood in the urine. Or does she hav a stomach infection OR did she eat something and is it stuck in her intestines? What do you have an idea that? The vet is not sure which one it is.
Answers: Sounds like a stomach infection. With a blockage, she wouldn't be able to poop and a UTI would enjoy her straining to pee and probably outside the litterbox. I'd get her to another vet ASAP.
Aww poor baby! I would gain her to another vet today! Your vet is slacking big time. He should have done some tests/x rays to see what the problem actaully is. It can't be a blockage if shes poopin. Sounds similar to a nasty infection. I would get her in somewhere that they will interview her and see what the real issues are.
