Does my cat hold a cold?

One of her eyes has a clearish-yellow discharge running from it, and she's sneezing a lot. She is getting old, going on for 13. Should I take her to the vet? I really don't want this to get worse. Or is this common during winter?
Answers:    For the love of kitty god, take the poor kitty to the vet! She is 13, that is up there contained by age and she could have an eye infection that is easy to treat or something more serious. She could own a cold, yes, but take her to the vet. Sounds like an infection if it have a color! GO NOW!
There should be an emergency clinic- even a local vet should have the # or name of the emergency animal hospital. Worst case, do a hike in visit tommorrow and wait whether you have to w/o an an appt. Sorry to sound bossy, I just want you to nick the kitty to the vet. Good luck, let us know. Sincerly- certified crazy cat person & her 4 cats.:)
It sounds like a adjectives upper respiratory infection. Make an appointment with your vet and have her checked out, she will most likely call for antibiotics this can get worse if left untreated particularly in an older cat.
