Does this kitten look resembling a long mane?
This kitten is 5 weeks old and I can't tell if it's a long fuzz or short hair. I suspect that he is just a short hair kitten but I can't be certain.

My friend kept two kittens from the same litter who both looked exactly resembling your kitten, One ended up long, one ended up short.

Probably not. At this age they tend to look "fluffier" than they will be as adults.

he will probably be shorter-haired. It is really hard to inform at that age because they still have their baby hair. You will own a much better idea in about 2 months.
We cannot find out until he gets elder.Because his fur is still growing plus he is so cute.
i would guess short hair, but it is hard to convey at that age as all or fluffy.

What an adorable sweet kitten you have!
Most domestic shorthair kittens are "fuzzy" until they get their fully fledged coat. It may take awhile to discover if he is a shorthair or has a surrounding substance length coat.
Good luck to you with this baby. I bet he would win big in the household pet division of a cat show, once he is frail enough to be shown.
